Dungeons & Dragons is a cooperative Role Playing Game (RPG) where players work together to go on imaginary adventures, solve mysteries, fight monsters and become heroes. Players get to create their own characters and backstories that fit into the fantasy setting.
A storyteller will help guide the players through the world they create and use dice to decide what things happen. The game encompasses mathematics, problem solving and storytelling all in a safe and enjoyable setting.
D&D has featured in lots of movies and shows and is most recently seen in Stranger things and the film honor among thieves. Players don't need any previous understanding of the rules or setting to play.
The sessions are run by a garda vetted facilitator, Josh, and are suitable for ages 8-12.
4-6pm Blood on the Clocktower (ages 13-18)
Cost: €16 per person
If you are a detective in the making, or love investigations, mysteries, and socialising, this unique game will be the talk of your midterm break!
Garda vetted Otter space staff member, Lorenzo, plays the Storyteller. He will lead you through the game. Each player is assigned a role on the good or evil team. Players socialise in order to investigate, plot, deceive, tell the truth, or lie. Will you help good or evil win?
