Otter space: games & community is a board game cafe and Local Game Store, opening mid-August 2025 in Skerries.
We sell board games, books, puzzles, and sensory toys, while also providing a pay-and-play space for people to sit and play board games, card games, TTRPGs, and TCGs.
Since nothing accompanies some leisure time like an amazing cup of coffee, we are now hiring for a part-time barista!
The role will involve:
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, teas, and hot chocolate.
- Serving pastries and snacks.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the coffee area, and keeping fulling stocked.
- Receiving and processing card payments.
- Maintaining and cleaning coffee brewing equipment.
- Reporting any equipment issues.
- Assisting with other café duties as needed.
Barista experience is strongly preferred.
Starting pay is €13.50/hour, and applicants must be available to work:
Tuesday-Friday 1pm-5pm,
and Saturday 10am-5pm
for a total of 23 hours per week.
Staff discounts are also available.
Applicants must be legally authorised to work in Ireland.
